Details of Artemis Mission

In order to launch the Artemis moon mission on Monday, NASA had mostly fuelled its first Space Launch System (SLS) megarocket when launch controllers were unable to cool one of the four main engines to the temperatures required to handle its super-cold propellant. The Moon and Mars will be reachable by humans thanks to a succession of progressively difficult missions, the first of which being Artemis I.
