This id aids Facebook in delivering better analytics for shared links, but it wreaks havoc on your Google Analytics reports because the same URL appears numerous times with distinct fbclids. As a result, you won’t be able to include useful information in your reports.

Removing fbclid from your reports will solve the problem. The fix must be applied to every view from which you wish fbclid to be removed. The steps are as follows:
- You’ll need admin access to Google Analytics’ “Admin Panel.”
- Choose the Google Analytics View to which you’d like to apply the update.
- Select “View Settings” from the drop-down menu.
- In the Exclude URL Query Parameters box, type fbclid.
