STEAG – Signals Technology Evaluation and Adaptation Group (STEAG), is a specialist unit that researches advanced communication technologies such as 6G, AI, machine learning, and quantum computing for military applications. STEAG seeks to bridge the gap between the armed forces, industry, and academics while also encouraging self-reliance in advanced communication technology. This approach is consistent with the Army’s goal of adopting new technologies to improve its operational capabilities in modern warfare.
