Antidiuretic hormone

Antidiuretic hormone (ADH) is a hormone that helps your body manage the quantity of water it holds. It regulates how much water your kidneys reabsorb while filtering waste from your blood. Arginine vasopressin (AVP) or argipressin is another name for this hormone.

High Level of ADH

If ADH levels are too high it might produce fluid imbalances and excess fluid can build up in the body. Some cases it can cause the seizures or cerebral edoema. If a person has heart failure resulting High ADH levels.

ADH is naturally produced in the hypothalamus and then by the pituitary gland.
