Achyutananda Das also known as Mahapurusha Achyutananda was an Indian poet, seer and Vaishnava saint. Mahapurusha Achyutananda Das was also a well-known person in the Panchasakha movement. He possessed the ability to look into the past, present, and future.

He born in 1482 A.D. to a Karana family in Tilakana, a village on the Chitrotpala riverbank in Cuttack district. His father was Dinabandhu Khuntia, and his mother was Padmavati.
Not only was Achyutananda Das a saint-poet, but he was also a critic of modern society. He had prophesied what the future would be based on his imagination and foresight. He wrote Malikas, a prophetic poetry that portrayed his remarkable vision of the future. His writings have represented the current societal environment.

Nemala Mahapurusha Shri Achyutananda Das Gadi is one of the most popular famous temples in Odisha. The Temple (Gadi) is located 42 kilometres from Cuttack and 61 Kilometer from Bhubaneswar and situated on an island that spans the Luna and Chitrotpala rivers. This is Sadhana and samadhi Pitha of great saint called Malika Purana. The Samadhipitha of Maha purus is called Sunya samadhi. It is a very sacred place. A fair is held here annually on Jyeshta Purnima and Magha Sukla Ekadasi.
