जनरल मनोज पांडे ने देश के नए सेना प्रमुख का पदभार संभाल लिया है। मनोज पांडे ने जनरल एमएम नरबाने से 29वें थल सेनाध्यक्ष के रूप में पदभार ग्रहण किया है। जनरल पांडे सेना प्रमुख के रूप में कार्यभार संभालने से पहले 2 साल 1 महीने तक सेना में सेवा देंगे। इससे पहले, वह एस्तेर के कमांडर-इन-चीफ थे। वह पूर्वी क्षेत्र में भारतीय सीमा की सुरक्षा के लिए जिम्मेदार था, जो चीन की सीमा में है। अपने 39 साल के सैन्य करियर में, पांडे ने कई महत्वपूर्ण भूमिकाएँ निभाई हैं।

General Manoj Pandey
- 29th Chief of the Army Staff.
- General Pandey will serve in the Army for 2 years and 1 month before taking over as the Chief of Army Staff.
- Prior to this, he was the Commander-in-Chief of Esther.
- He was responsible for the security of the Indian border in the eastern sector, which borders China. In his 39-year military career, Pandey has played many important roles.
- Graduate of the National Defence Academy.
- On February 1, 2022, Lt Gen Manoj Pande assumed the position of Vice Chief of the Army Staff.
- He was a major commanding officer during Operation “Parakram”.
