Tips to Avoid Skin Rashes and Injuries for a Safe Holi 

Many commercial Holi colors have strong chemicals that might harm your skin. Choose natural, herbal colors whenever feasible to avoid rashes.

Apply a sufficient amount of moisturizer to your face, arms, and legs before Holi. Petroleum jelly across your lips and nostrils provide further protection.

Apply coconut oil, almond oil, or olive oil to any exposed skin before playing Holi.  The oil helps to keep colors from clinging to your skin and reduces discomfort.

If you have sensitive skin, wear thick sleeves and pants. Wear sunglasses and a bandana to shield your eyes and hair from color.  

Avoid utilizing water balloons filled with filthy or stagnant water since they might cause diseases. Play with clean water in sanitary conditions.  

Staying hydrated throughout the day will assist to eliminate toxins and keep your skin healthy. Drink a lot of water before, during, and after playing Holi.

To remove colors from your skin, avoid strong scrubs. To remove it, use lukewarm water and a mild cleaner. Avoid using hot water and strong soaps.

To relieve any color-related irritation, use a relaxing lotion such as calamine lotion or aloe vera gel. These gels will assist to cool and heal your skin.
