Red Ribbon at White House on World AIDS Day 2022

A Red Ribbon was raised to remember how far come and the what left work and those devastated by this disease

and for all HIV affected HIV affects all Americans especially LGBTQ+ people are disproportionately affected. 

The message was shared by the President Joe Biden in his message and said "Let's Finish the Fight"

In the Past , the White House began marking World AIDS Day with the some  iconic display 

In 2007, the White House began displaying a 28-foot AIDS Ribbon on its North Portico to celebrate World AIDS Day.

White House exhibit to signify the U.S. commitment to fight the global AIDS epidemic through its PEPFAR programme.

It was the first banner, sign, or symbol to prominently hang from the White House since the Abraham Lincoln administration

Since 1993, the president has proclaimed World AIDS Day. Trump designated 1 December World AIDS Day on 30 November.
