National American Eagle Day is celebrated on June 20 to honour the US emblem and national pride.

The Second Continental Congress chose bald eagles as the national symbol on June 20, 1782.

The day also promotes educational outreach while supporting the restoration of their natural ecosystems.

To conserve, rehabilitate, and educate the public about bald eagles and other prey birds.
