Know the average number of steps done by those over the age of 40

Most of them have a computer-based job and spend many hours in a sitting position every day. Even after work, they sit on the sofa or chair and watch TV and mobile phones for hours.

Many people suffer from many health problems due to such bad lifestyle. Some people don't mind exercising until it hurts.

Some people make the excuse that they don't have time to exercise. But such people should at least walk daily 

According to the Researchers , most people should walk 8 miles a day. It does not mean that you have to walk 8 km every day. In fact, we go through many steps from waking up in the morning to going to bed at night.

 Walk briskly for about 30 minutes a day. The WHO recommends that young people in particular should engage in at least 150 minutes of exercise every day.

According to American Scientific people under the age of 60 should walk between 8,000 and 10,000 steps per day to stay healthy. 

Such walking improves heart health. Meanwhile, people over the age of 60 should walk 6,000 to 8,000 steps a day.

A brisk walk of about 4 to 5 km in the morning or evening is good. Walking 3 to 4 kilometers a day is enough for the elderly. 

Walkers can gradually increase their walking distance without aiming for a goal distance. Regular daily walking is good for physical and mental health.
