Jharkhand Election Legislative Assembly 2014-2019-2024

The Jharkhand Election Legislative Assembly for 2024 is set to take place in two phases, from November 13 to November 20, 2024, for the purpose of electing all 81 members of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The counting of votes and the announcement of results will occur on November 23, 2024. Hemant Soren currently serves as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

Jharkhand election 2024 dates Highlights

The term of the 5th Jharkhand Assembly is set to conclude on January 5, 2025. The last assembly elections took place between November and December 2019. A coalition comprising the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Indian National Congress, and Rashtriya Janata Dal established the state government, with Hemant Soren assuming the role of Chief Minister.
