IPMDA – Indo-Pacific Maritime Domain Awareness . India, Japan, Australia, and the United States have joined forces to improve maritime security and awareness in the Indo-Pacific area through the Indo-Pacific Maritime Domain Awareness (IPMDA) effort. At the fourth Quad Leaders’ Summit, which took place in Wilmington, Delaware on September 21, 2024, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. welcomed Prime Ministers Anthony Albanese of Australia, Kishida Fumio of Japan, and Narendra Modi of India.
