The Deputy Chiefs of the Army Staff (DCOAS) serve as Principal Staff Officers (PSOs) within the Indian Army, holding three-star rank positions as Lieutenant-Generals. Presently, the DCOAS rank encompasses three divisions: Capability Development and Sustenance, Information Systems & Coordination, and Strategy. This office oversees the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO), the Director General of Military Intelligence, the Director General of Operation Logistics, and the Director General of Information Warfare.
